Ubuntu One Music Store
Feb 27th, 2010 | By CBrookins | Category: NewsWith the release of Ubuntu 10.04 coming up quickly, Canonical plans to add an Ubuntu One Music Store to the distribution. Ubuntu’s lack of an Itunes store alternative has created a problem for users looking to purchase and download music legally. There are options available, nothing truly competitive. I personally have been using the Amazon music store for the past year, and it gets the job done. The fact that Canonical plans to integrate this option into a music manager makes this process that much easier. I have had no problems from Amazon, but to have a music store available without having to open a browser is definitely something I look forward to.
Check out the official plan here.
